Family walk at the National Garden
Kids friendly exploration of the most beautiful garden in Athens
Do palm trees, rams and peacocks exist in the Athens city center? In this family walk at the National Garden, especially designed for toddlers and kids by experienced pedagogues you will explore the city’s verdant corners!
Amidst high buildings, traffic lights and the city’s noise, lies the National Garden. Formerly known as the Royal Garden, created by Queen Amalia immediately after the establishment of the modern Greek state and the enthronement of King Otto, the Garden is the city center’s lung and a place to find inner peace along with the sound of birds and the smell of rare plants!
Join this family friendly walking tour and discover the secrets of the buildings, the animals and the plants in the garden next to the Greek Parliament and the most beautiful of the Athenian historical center.
