Sea Kayaking Thassos Island
Kefalas Cape Kayak Tour
Sea kayaking is a great way to explore the coast, see wildlife and discover Thassos Island. From Skala Marion begins one of the most beautiful routes of the island by kayak. Once you pass the small port there is a small paradise Aspas (or Atspas), a small oblong bay with clear, shallow waters and fine sugary sand. The next bay seems as exotic as the rocks lying in the turquoise waters beneath the Fari (ancient pottery). Access by road from now is impossible because the rocks are vertically offering our successive small beaches with white pebbles that make you want to swim at all. After swimming starts next impressive part of the route in an imposing landscape with successive caves at the base of towering cliffs. Seabirds follow us all the time up Trypiti where the end of our journey.
Tip: Sea kayak trips are designed for flexible, energetic people who like to be active, have an adventurous spirit and a positive attitude. All of our programs include outdoor activities means you will be in the nature and our schedule is very weather dependent. Previous kayaking experience is recommended, but not required.
