Early in the morning or in late afternoon, start your tour at Marathi, very close to Parikia, Paros, together with an experienced local guide, who will reveal to you the history of the ancient marble quarries from where the famous Parian marble was extracted. Despite their great importance and continuous use from antiquity until the 19th century, today the quarries seem to be deserted! This is what makes the tour in the marble quarries such a unique experience.
In this kid-friendly tour, you will also have the chance to curve and paint your own marble souvenir with the guidance of a sculptor in his atelier located close to the ancient marble quarries.

This private hiking tour is ideal for families with children over 9 years old. It operates throughout the year and it cannot be booked independently, but as part of a multi-day tailormade trip in the Greek Islands.
