Mountains of Corinthia

Guided Tours & Activities in Lake Doxa and Mount Killini

The mountains of Corinthia and their lakes are considered to be the “Greek Switzerland” in terms of natural landscape. Covered in snow during winter, in all colors of the earthly palette in autumn, dressed in red thanks to the poppies in spring, and a chilling paradise in summertime, the area is magnificent year-round.

Start your day trip from the village of Trikala, located on Killini Mountain, the second highest mountain in the Peloponnese. Riding your buggy through the vast forest of pine and fir trees, enjoy the villages and the surrounding area, the rivers and the waterfalls.

In Doxa lake, you will have the opportunity to visit Saint Fanourios, the small church of the old monastery, now sunk under the water and drive to the new monastery of Saint George up the hill to admire the frescoes and try the rose petal spoon sweet produced by the monks. You can arrange for mountain bikes and e-bikes, guided biking and hiking around the lake, kayaking, SUP and hydrobikes.

Add-On Experiences

  • Hydrobike, SUP or Kayak in Lake Doxa
  • E-bike or Mountain bike rental
  • E-bike or Mountain bike guided tour
