Eco Tour to Meet the Sea Turtles and Swimming in the Athens Riviera While in Athens With Kids

Would you like to meet the three species of sea turtles that are “visitors” in Greece? Join MAMAKITA in its private sea turtle rescue tours at Archelon, Greece!

Would you like to visit the Archelon Sea Turtle Rescue Center, learn more about sea turtles and their rehabilitation?

Start the tour with a short presentation of Archelon, the Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece, visit the outdoor tanks and the Greenhouse to learn more about sea turtles, their common injuries and the way to protect this species. In the rescue center, you will meet some of the volunteers who do their best for these animals and you will hear their touching stories. In this tour, you get an adoption certificate for your support to the rehabilitation of a specific Sea Turtle in the Rescue Center for 10 days.

Continue to a kid friendly beach suggested by MAMAKITA or to a kid friendly restaurant for lunch.  

This tour can be combined with a Bespoke family tour at the Benaki Toy Museum or a guided tour to the SNFCC with Kids.

How to book

This family tour is ideal for families with children of all ages. It operates throughout the year and it cannot be booked independently, but as part of a multi-day tailormade trip in Greece.
